I don't know how many of you knew Aleta Jackson personally. She's been a fixture in the space community for decades. I first met her when she was the "Gal Friday" of the L5 Society. Many years later, I was rolling my Dog and Pony Show fusor into a room at a SF Con in Scottsdale, when I ran into Aleta coming out with a real rocket engine slung over her shoulder. I thought I had the coolest toy at the Con, but Aleta had me beat.
I'm going to miss her.
