Deadly Pot In Texas - Officer Killed

Sowders and other officers entered the home about 90 miles northwest of Houston without knocking just before 6 a.m. Authorities were looking for guns and marijuana.
It pays to be polite.
Magee is still in custody in neighboring Washington County, but should be soon released on bond since he only faces a marijuana possession charge, DeGuerin said.

Renken said her office would "fully prosecute" that case.
I think it would also pay to give up on Prohibition. Who wants to be the last cop shot in a pot raid? Hell. Who wants to be the next one?

BTW the officers found the gun (the hard way) and also found the pot. Magee was not charged with murder. He was charged with the pot and the gun.

I wish we had the Police in the Ukraine. That is before the coup a few months ago...
