No, it's the techniques you choose. There's more than one way and you always choose the nastiest and cheapest. Engineers call that "quick and dirty." I would further call it "nasty, brutish, and short."

We need a directorate of science, and we need it to be voted on only by scientists. You don't get to vote on reality. Get over it. Elected officials that deny the findings of the Science Directorate are subject to immediate impeachment for incompetence.

Hey, I thought MSimon's topic was just fine. How come all of a sudden we're no longer talking about the addictiveness of drugs, and drug policies?
