My understanding is that we'll continue to work / be paid due to the organization of our contract. I don't know the details but from what I gather the government pays our parent company lump sum for service's rendered not directly for our support. We've been paid out for the rest of the 2nd fiscal year so we don't have to worry.

It's an effort by the pompous little sh*t for brains to intimidate Republicans into going along with Obamacare. What he may not realize is that outside of the Military, Republicans have very little constituency in the Federal Bureaucracy. Most of those people being put out of work are Democrats.


One study puts the IRS as employing 95% Democrat. Republicans tend to be people who work in the Private Sector, not people who work in Government.

Yeah, that's putting some real pressure on them. The only real pressure is from the Goebbels Media, and that's pretty much illusion if people are just strong enough to realize it.
