Have a talk or lecture about Polywell at sci-fi conventions (e.g. DragonCon, SDCC, NASFiC or, especially, Worldcon). Most of the people there are absolute nuts on the subject of SF technologies becoming real-world, and a lot have an engineering background. Scientific and technical talks on SF cons are not uncommon.kunkmiester wrote:Tell your favorite sci-fi writer about it. I have a short story I plan on mentioning them in passing in, the way I do things it'll take a while to get it written though. Sci-fi is important though, and if you start getting people in the genre to use it as a power source, it'll attract attention, just like Star Trek did with antimatter.
The same holds for hacker conferences, such as DefCon or CCC.
