Beautiful device. The energy range is

Energy Range: 20 - 150 keV

If we get fusion, we'd want to go a lot higher than that. Fantastic resolution though, it'd be great fun to play with!

I was thinking plasma diagnostics.

With H as the test gas or He if we can afford it. :-)
