I don't know how useful this book is for Polywell discussions, but a previous book by this author- PLASMA PHYSICS AND FUSION ENERGY was useful for me, at least the earlier parts, before neutral thermalized plasmas and Tokamak oriented MHD considerations were stressed. The title of this book suggests that these considerations are expanded on in this book. Certainly this is useful for Tokamak oriented physics, but the Polywell is stressed as a non neutral, non equilibrium system and that MHD theory cannot be applied globally. It is not that the theory is wrong, but that it may not apply without very careful qualifications and modifications.
