Judging by the non-conformal (to the field) coil casings, they don't get the gist of Bussard's 'eureka' moment.

The actual Polywell design and functioning principles have many nuances like the virtual cathode in the virtual anode and the so called 'bucky ball' effect.
Ahem. That's "wiffle ball".

If their drawing represents their actual design there are seral issues. The 'nubs or interconnects between the main magnets are guge and inside the radius of the main magnets. Granted the nubs are large and could contain a lot og magnetic windings, so the magnetic shielding of these portions could be much more than in WB6 (probably only one wire through the nubs in WB6). The design might actually nore closely resemble the 6 cubed faced real magnets and the 8 corner magnets that are almost completely virtual in WB6, but more real here.

The other immediately obvious issue is all of the bolts on the magnet casing, along with the square casings. Bussared, etel. struggled to limit arcing concerns, in large part by avoiding sharp corners. There are a bunch of them in this design. Arcing might occur before the Wiffleball completely inflates (density increasing inside the machine) so it might preclude reaching this condition.
