A blog has been started accusing Mark's work as being a Hoax:

thoroughly entertaining read. Even a neophyte, such myself, can spot errors.

Re-reading i notice the preponderance of italian. could this be rossi fighting back?

12 years "going to nuclear conferences" and he has never heard of a bubble detector? Right.

Physicist maybe, Nuclear Physicist, not. He can't even do proper research, let alone understand what he is talking about.

To be fair, it has been some time since Mark has made any movement visible in his efforts. One is inclined to think he is in money making mode again, and the polywell work is on the shelf for now.

I've never been to a nuclear conference, but even I knew what a bubble detector was. Its also very simple to look up the term, which you guys imply he hasn't bothered to do. Just to see, I searched on it and "BTI Bubble Detector ... Bubble Detectors are the most sensitive, accurate, neutron dosimeters available." is the second link I get.

I haven't checked his blog yet, but I'm about to, for the entertainment value if nothing else.

[edit] I see he did look up the bubble detector. Based on a different entry, he is a teacher at a university. I wonder what he teaches?

He apparently teaches Physics at Padova. Obviously not nuclear physics...
Either way, his "blog" shows a complete lack of due diligence or understanding. The best comedy IMO is that he puts Suppes in the LENR category.

Nice April Fools joke blog but you are a month or so early. If folks want some real info, please direct them to the Wikipedia article on Polywell. It is pretty good.

outrageous slander. semi-educated. possibly some Mafiosi chum of Rossi. i hope he allows Famulus the decency of a right of reply. i pity the future of science in Italy wiith idiots like that holding teaching positions, professedly.

Now that is weird to say the least. Oh and I also know what a bubble detector is and I have no physics degree whatsoever, not even engineering.

Well, that gives debunkers a bad name. Whether or not polywell can work, one could at least look up what it is before tearing into it.

Looks like Paperburn has tried to engage him, but he is still sticking his head in the sand.
It is funny, cause nobody here says that Polywell will work. But we are for the most part willing to give it a critical view. It seems our Italian friend has never learned how to be critical.
