eyewitness report from the new lab

I don't think this has yet been reported here:
Carl Willis reports (on fusor.net) that he had the opportunity to visit EMC2 around the end of January. Read his comments on the work being done there, and the people doing it.
He doesn't provide a lot of detail, out of respect for the researchers and their kindness in admitting him, but I find it encouraging to hear what he was able to say nonetheless.
Best,

Interesting, though not a lot of meat there. I see Richard "Eeyore" Hull chimes in on that thread, too...

Any idea when we might hear something official? I thought someone had mentioned "by spring." Is that still true?

All the news I have gotten so far indicates the lab is on track for a "spring" announcement.
I have no details, but have heard from several people that the work is advancing as rapidly as possible.
Patience is in order. I remember last summer when there seemed little hope of getting the research funded. We have come a long way in the last year and a half (since the release of the Google video).
We have a long way to go even if the experiments show further work is warranted.

I can't take this anymore.
Anyone know the lab hours? I am going to sneak in and install hidden cameras.

It would be awesome if they actually had a camcorder installed on a tripod in the control room for regular updates/memo purposes.. you know kinda like a captain`s log idea, and at the end of the whole ordeal maybe even air it as a reality show!

... maybe we won`t have to resort to driving a getaway car. Maybe we can offer mr. Ligon a carrot cake or something in exchange for dropping off a few spycams at the new mexico place

:) He`s well known to them and most likely even consider him trustworty
...only thing is... will he actually do it?

... or you could just call Dr. Nebel at home and ask him how it's going. His number is listed. I think you should do the rude but not illegal thing before jumping right to the illegal one. Baby steps you know.
