Until a steady state machine is built, I worry that plasma weirdness might manifest in time scales longer than the test shots. My complete lack of expertise in plasmas though likely trumps my personal discomfort.Until new measurements were obtained, researchers were not able to observe the very rapid change in edge turbulence which occurs in less than a millisecond over a zone less than 1cm thick.
