I have been keeping up with anti-viral treatments. This is one that I have great hope for in the elimination of viral infections. I daresay in the future we will be able to treat for viruses in the manner we now treat for bacteria with antibiotics.
Up till now, most of what we had were viral inhibitors or drugs that interfered with replication. Something that actually kills infected cells would be a lifesaver. I also think that it would be a very effective cancer treatment because the evidence is tending to demonstrate that many cancers are initiated by viral actions.
The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades.
