OTOH if your plant power density is so low you really need tritium your reactor economics are probably pretty screwed anyway (e.g. ITER>DEMO). There's at least 1,000 years of fission fuels to get through before that's competitive. It's the proliferation of people looking at high-energy p-B11 reactors that's promising.Tritium breeding seems to be a major hurtle for a pure fusion energy generation.
