I saw that. Indeed the IP in fusion is growing rapidly. Helion has a few patents granted already too. I think ZAP has a few applications out as well.

According to the article Helion Energy has filed three patent applications and one of them has been granted and the other two are pending. According to the article there is no patent assigned to ZAP Energy, but there is a patent filed in 2017 by Shumlak, Nelson and McLean on behalf of the University of Washington and LLNL.

I am pretty sure that the patent for the FDR was granted, though that might have been filed under MSNW?
