Here's something interesting: The article says that you get 1MW out for 40W in. If you work through the math: 1 MW = 6.25e24 eV/s. Perhaps this is finally the "going grey" ladajo and others have been expecting. For the sake of someone new to the forum, what would that mean? Are we talking about the navy wanting to keep promising results to themselves, or is it more a fear that the failure of the project will never be acknowled...

Some how "3 shots, confirmed scaling" would make me more optimistic than "500 shots, confirming scaling." Just saying. 500 shots seems like they have some pretty nasty question to deal with.
