I gather the thing of interest in a polywell is the production of high energy ions/electrons. How are these harvested? It sounds as though there's no need for a process to transfer heat and produce steam or something of that nature, but instead somehow electricity is obtained directly?

If a polywell ' s fusion is anuetronic what sort of radiation does it produce? What is the half life? Or is it only anuetronic when using boron?
