Re: SpaceX News
Maybe I'm a bit dense here, but it seems to me that the first requirement met in Falcon 9 v1.1 was to loft pretty much the same level of payload but add enough margin in the first stage to permit adding the structures needed for controlled reentry and landing of the first stage. This marks the first...

Re: More Helion Energy news....
Any news from Helion is most welcome. However, I've lost track; is this one the IPA-HD or the Component Test Facility? Or, has a more up-to-date project plan been published that I missed?

A couple of problems plague many big businesses. They're now run by CEOs who are not actually employees. They are typically outsiders, picked for performance at totally different companies, and they work under contract. They don't really know the business. The stunning new successes are run by the ...

Re: Ummmm ...
EMC has built numerous devices. Some of the people here have done so. What devices have you actually built? EMC2 built devices that do not work as desired. I did not build reactor on base of my fusion idea because simply I have not required for that several hundred millions dollars. Some people her...

Re: Ummmm ...
Ad homenim's aside, I asked joseph some time back about his bona fixes. Specifically, I asked what actual fusion reactor projects he himself has "bent metal" on. I based my inquiry on his incessant, repetitious criticisms of many reactor designs. I never received a coherent reply. I do not claim ex...

Account probably lapsed
My experience has been that you see this when the site's Web provider or ISP has shut off the account. It may have lapsed due to a variety of reasons. If possible, you can use archive.org's wayback machine to look at the site the last time it worked to seek contact info.

Here's an idea
I hear there's an election in France soon; maybe we can get The Anointed One to run for election there instead! They're used to getting waxed in combat, right?
BTW Krauthammer really had O's number last night on the All-Stars segment. Wow. "fear" ... "cravenous" ... wow.

Just to help establish things, I don't think of Mike Huckabee as a conservative, and I don't think that Bill Buckley would have, either. It's always good to remember that Reaganite conservatives (Goldwater, too) look at conservatism as having three legs to the philosophical "stool": strong defense (...

So, conservatives feel that government-funded research is OK? Why ask him? He is not "conservative", he is "authoritarian". :P You should explain your point better. You think i'm an "authoritarian" because I don't believe drugs should be freely available to whomever wants them. Sensible people do n...

No. Please answer the questions I asked. I will look at the link later. The questions are more relevant to this specific thread. I do not question the need for vigorous peer review; it is the essence of good science. I simply want answers to the questions I asked. Please answer them. If no, that's ...

I am curious. How many dense plasma focus fusion reactors have you attempted to build? How many Polywell reactors? How many fusors? How many fusion experiment devices? Please note that I am simply asking. It will help me to assess your level of experience and expertise. I am not attacking you, just...

I clearly know how that device works. Unlike you. And know that I am right and you are wrong. Also I know that you waste time always when talk and think about fusion and there in FF1 are not any braking forces decelerating copper ions. Thanks for discussion. I am curious. How many dense plasma focu...
