Re: Grok encouraging me to post again.

Hello again guys. Grok and I went to work testiing it out in Colab. What we figured out was that we hadn't created a virtual polywell, what we had was a 2 stage compression inertial confinement scheme. We tested it out with D-T, got the core compressed to liquid hydrogen density, but couldn't get i...

Re: Helion Energy to demonstrate net electricity production by 2024

Conjecture. OpenAI is not even a customer of Helion yet. They are obviously smarter than that. LOL, you were the one who made that statement. People here try to have serious conversations. If you want to be an edgelord, do that on Reddit, please. There are other ways to feed the Hype train without ...

I don't know if you've been keeping up with the news, but it's to keep the OpenAI bubble from popping.

Re: Helion Energy to demonstrate net electricity production by 2024

everything they are doing is exactly what you would do if you were already sure the physics works ! Or if you wanted people to think that you were already sure the physics works. in this scenario, who are they trying to convince by building a factory? the public? who cares what they think? it's not...

Re: Helion Energy to demonstrate net electricity production by 2024

You would be surprised how difficult it is to get capacitors and high power switches of certain specifications. There is a very good reason why Helion and Zap (and I believe others) have to manufacture caps and other equipment in-house. For certain electronic components related to fast and high pow...

Re: Helion Energy to demonstrate net electricity production by 2024

I can’t understand why Elon Musk talks about Tokamak first wall heat problem as representative of Fusion (latest pod cast, at the end, around 1hr25min), when Helion Energy converts plasma power via magnetic dynamics. If someone is going to speak on a subject as important as Fusion for energy, at le...

Re: Helion Energy to demonstrate net electricity production by 2024

Helion's progress is starting to feel like the Dichotomy Paradox. Namely that, to reach a destination, you first need to reach a point halfway between, then halfway between that, then halfway between that, and so on, endlessly, so that you can never quite finish. What's the version where you announ...
