. The navy and ONR would have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER to pull funding if it crashed and burned. It happens every day with funded projects. Pulling funding is pretty rare in my experience; choosing not to fund extensions or follow-on work is one thing, but to actually pull funding on a running project...
