Mentioning that electron current is an excellent insulator against magnetic fields would seem to be another enlightening way of describing the exclusion of an external magnetic field from the confined electron space, and thus be a reasoned argument for the Wiffleball formation. .......................

................................. Thank you so much for your complete and useful answers. You know that electrical current is the best insulation for electric and magnetic fields. Also it is considered an adequate protection against the emission of electromagnetic fields. Dr Bussard predicted that ...

An Important Question About Polywell

When a large number of electrons orbit around Polywell Magrid they can insulate electric field of Magrid then the Potential Well Depth is reduced.

Isn't it?

When do you think you will move forward on your next step, (I assume Ion guns)? Or will you think to improve the e-guns first?
Really, I don't know. We will have some publications before improving.

Have you seen this paper?

might be easier to pull from here:

edit: added second link
ladajo,

Thanks for your guidance. I did not see it before. It's useful.

Yes, I read about multi-grid IECF that increases NPR.
In IECF devices adding "cooling system+multigrid" is very difficult.

You are right about ion sources. In this work a three-phase high voltage 25kw DC electric power supply was used that unfortunately it is not suitable for pulsed operation. A multi-layer quartz tube for high voltage feedthrough (Injection of high voltage composite; Epoxy+Hardener+Resin; between the l...

You know, it is an academic work. We followed university of Wisconsin Madison IECF research and we used their modeling to design electods sizes. Implantation of D+ and He+ in Candidate Fusion First Wall Materials is our new work that is accepted by Journal of Fusion Energy and will be published as s...

Have you taken a close look at Andrew Seltman's work?
Yes, I did. Their grid cooling system is very good, but in small size and low voltages. Simultaneous use of the cooling system and multi-grid electrodes, is very effective in improving the system.

The concerning thing about your rig, is that once you push up yields, others may want to use it for things not on your intended use list. I saw the word "peaceful" in your article. I had to smile. Not all folks will think the way you have written. We believe that all applications of WB7/8 and fusor...

Fusors are good neutron sources, but as you have said it does better with cooling. There has been some good work on cooled grids, but the ablative issues remain. How do you intend to do the titainium coating? What are you using for your grid material? How large are your inner and outer grids and wh...

Vahid, Now that you have your fusor up and running, are you looking to improve it, seems like you could "polish" it up a bit and get more neutrons out of it. Thoughts/Plans? ladajo, We intend to improve it by adding ion sources, titanium coating and cooling system. We will appriciate your useful id...
