Shading in the picture

It's still unclear to me exactly what all the control loops will be.

It'd be useful to enumerate them and get some idea of the requirements for each.

Until we know more about that, it's hard to discuss what we'll need to implement. Still, it's fun to speculate.

A list of ballpark operating conditions may be helpful in figuring out what sort of components to use. I'm sure we all have some ideas of what sorts of hazards there are, but it would be nice to put some numbers to them, or at least relations to some variables (eg. radius, desired potential well). It's good to hear Jeff is alive and well. I was quite dismayed when I heard iTV went under. They had a good idea, but perhaps it was too revolutionary!

Hope Intellasys fares better. :)
