This image is corrected. It was some errors in the first version.

Deleted according to error in field direction.

Great images Torulf. If you wanted to extend it, it would be cool to see some electron recirculation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmp1cg3-WDY . I imagine an electron beam coming out through the small opening and then fountaining-out to re-enter through the larger openings. btw, it would seem that the existing cage around the polywell is a bit close for this to occur.

Actually that video might not be entirely correct. Here is some discussion: viewtopic.php?t=27. And I learn something new - I didn't realise the coils where held at a high potential.

The part of the animation with at the atomic scale looked kind of like playing asteroids.
