This is really long, and very detailed. I've just decided to look at certain sections myself, which I won't bother to detail here. For those interested, the case is being made for Europe specifically and the west in general to start looking at colonizing space, among other endeavors.

Evil can be good in the right dose under the proper conditions. - Chemotherapy.

To colonize space engines are required. Nuclear engines - fission or fusion.
Engineering is the art of making what you want from what you can get at a profit.
