Super computers in a post polywell world

Intel and IBM might change their design philosophies to reflect a new class of computing if electricity were to be cheap enough. Actually it would probably be more of the same:

tablets, netbooks, laptops, work stations, gaming rigs/uber work stations

Gaming and video card technology could start aiming for a much larger form factor for homes, with appropriate water cooling.

Monitors and televisions, too, would now only be limited by size and less by how much power they consume. Productivity all over the board could rise drastically with significantly larger work areas.

Projects like http://folding.stanford.edu/ would probably see an instant rise as current users upgrade to donating more space and machinery.

Waste heat...

For most of us, the limit is not the power consumption, hence electricity cost, but getting the resultant waste heat out of the core(s)...
