Polywell visions: Computing

Post by cksantos »

5. Super Computing will reach singularity levels and polywell will provide the power to run the darn things. If you havent read "The Singularity is Near" by Ray Kurzweil then do so now. Basically computers are on track to follow Moore's law until they become so powerful that they exceed the capabilities of the processing power of the entire human race and permiate the known universe with intelligent cyborgish machines within a few hundred years. From this we can deduce that the power grid in California will need a few polywells...

Coming soon is my polywell thoughts on politics, social and philosophical aspects, and possibly more on space exploration.

"singularity" is merely a description of a failure of imagination.

Where the hell is my flying car, anyway?
