Hello!
I am new to this board and wanted to introduce myself before I start hounting threads here.
I have been lurking arround here for a while and finally decided to sign up.
I am from Austria and not a native English speaker, so please forgive me if I make one or the other mistake. I do not have a physics background, but one does not have to in order to understand the importance of the late Dr Bussards and now Dr Nebels work. Therefore I am as thrilled and psyched as anyone else here who is desperately waiting for news.
People often ask me about my nickname (since I keep using it often). It is a reference to the USS Skipjack the typeship of the US nuclear submarine class of the same name, which was one of the most advanced of its time and the only nuclear US submarine class to use a real full Albacore hull shape (most others today use a simplified shape based on the Albacore hull shape).
So no, I am not just a big fan of tuna fish
If polywell reactors work, they might replace nuclear reactors on submarines, so this is one way this is actually relevant here
