Voters in Oklahoma approved a ballot measure making the state the 30th in the nation to allow broad access to medical marijuana.

The proposal, which passed by a 57% to 43% margin on Tuesday, will allow doctors to recommend cannabis for any medical condition they see fit.

LMAO

And a side note: Prohibition doesn't work. Not for guns. Not for drugs.

I probably should add that with a 57% vote in favor - full legalization is not far behind.

I am glad to see you are still doing well Simon. Good to hear from you again.

Yes, they played the same trick they've been playing for awhile now, (calling it "medicinal") and gullible people fell for it. Another trick was to put it on the primary instead of the general. Most people ignore the primaries.

2016 election had 1,452,992 voters.

This thing passed with only a little over 1/3 that number, so it really doesn't represent the will of the people. I think if it had gone to the general, it would have failed badly. Because it was a primary, the pot-head and ignorant young people vote was energized, but most normal people were not even aware of it.

People have actual lives to lead.

Yeah. How could a plant with cannabinoids possibly affect the body's endocannabinoid system?

Biochemist Dennis Hill has some things to say about the cytokine cascade. And the body's endocannabinoid system.

Sorry for bringing science into it.

And worse news if you are a Trump supporter. He has been anti-prohibitionist for near 30 years.

In a speech delivered at the Miami Herald’s Company of the Year Awards luncheon, Donald Trump condemned the “war on drugs” as “a joke” and called for the legalization of drugs. “We’re losing badly the war on drugs,” he said. “You have to legalize drugs to win that war. You have to take the profit away from these drug czars.”
