So..the basis of the Mueller investigation is built on a fraud/misdirection; that is that there is such a crime as "colluding with Russia". It doesn't exist (as a crime); that's why it (the investigation) will/must default to "obstruction of justice" the Comey firing or some such.paperburn1 wrote:There is no federal law that criminalizes collusion between a political campaign and foreign government.
Uhh..to get Trump anyway they can because they couldn't accept that outcome of the election?paperburn1 wrote:Even though “colluding” with a foreign government, especially one as hostile as the Russian government may be inappropriate or politically damaging, it’s not illegal. In this sense, collusion is viewed as a political term and not a legal term.
As a result, Trump Jr, Manafort, and Kushner could not be prosecuted under a charge called “collusion.”
So why would Muller even be investigating something that is not a federal crime. Collusion...Meh
As an aside I don't think the 2018 mid-terms will go the way the Dems/libs think it will; don't think there will be anything like a "blue wave" this fall or in general:

The gist; running on "abolishing ICE", that is a thinly veiled let's open the southern US border is not a winner for the democrats. Lefty liberal white suburbanites are all for "diversity", "inclusion", etc., until it happens in their homogenous neighborhoods. As illegal immigrants inevitably at some point start fanning out of Texas & California into the environs of the rest of the country the reaction will be interesting to observe.
