Wow, astronomers have gotten lucky twice in one month! I hope they can convince a lot of people we need more instruments in space so we can stay lucky.

The scale is just mind boggling:
until—crack!—the field lines rupture, producing an explosion more powerful than a hundred million hydrogen bombs.

Impressive demonstration of the instability of concave fields.

After seeing that I can't imagine how can they possibly make a Tokamak work.

In a PW all those mass ejections become mass injections.
