Well, I have a 5" short focal ratio telescope built by a former spy satellite telescope maker.

And about twenty of his eyepieces, including a couple pairs for bino-viewers.

He built the KH-11's optics, if you know what that means.

His name is Al Nagler. A lot of people think he's the best small telescope builder in the world.

I have to say, my first 'scope was a Celestron C9.25, but my first expensive 'scope was my NP127is.
We need a directorate of science, and we need it to be voted on only by scientists. You don't get to vote on reality. Get over it. Elected officials that deny the findings of the Science Directorate are subject to immediate impeachment for incompetence.
