The Innocent Need Only Fear A Colonoscopy

Post by MSimon »

1. Eckert’s abdominal area was x-rayed; no narcotics were found.

2. Doctors then performed an exam of Eckert’s anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.

3. Doctors performed a second exam of Eckert’s anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.

4. Doctors penetrated Eckert’s anus to insert an enema. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

5. Doctors penetrated Eckert’s anus to insert an enema a second time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

6. Doctors penetrated Eckert’s anus to insert an enema a third time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

7. Doctors then x-rayed Eckert again; no narcotics were found.

8. Doctors prepared Eckert for surgery, sedated him, and then performed a colonoscopy where a scope with a camera was inserted into Eckert’s anus, rectum, colon, and large intestines. No narcotics were found.

Throughout this ordeal, Eckert protested and never gave doctors at the Gila Regional Medical Center consent to perform any of these medical procedures….

The guilty have rights and are generally treated accordingly. The innocent have no rights.

Discussed this earlier in another thread. Outrages behavior on the part of law enforcement to be sure.

Of course, I stumbled across this comment earlier today. Make no representation regarding it's accuracy, but it is something which might explain things better if true.

186 Speaking of old business, that guy who got the anal probing in New Mexico ws known to hide drugs up there and had been arrested for possessing meth in 2012.

Prison trivia: At least around here, hiding items where the sun don't shine is known as "keistering."

Then they want to charge HIM for the procedures rather than the police. Lawsuit time. He needs to get a lawyer and sue both the police department and the hospital.

Allegedly, this wasn't the first time these police have done this. With the same dog, whose certification had expired.

And to my liberal friends:
the situation will worsen as Obamacare kicks in, because of the mandatory drug treatment coverage. The drug treatment community wants to cash in and they will see keeping drugs illegal as the best guarantor of a continued supply of captive customers.

D,

I read that a previous incident with the police was over a cracked windshield. When he asked the police "am I free to go" they took umbrage.

On previous drug charges:
A records search for David W. Eckert’s past criminal history returns several results. The most recent drug-related arrest appears to have been in 2012. A section on the record, however, says the case was “dismissed by prosecutor.”

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a felony, in the case. The state of New Mexico entered a “nolle prosequie” motion, meaning it found it was not in the state’s best interest to prosecute, according to court records.

All this assumes that the best treatment for people with an alcohol addiction problem is jail. (note - I may have gotten the drug in question wrong in the last sentence.)

No they won't; Eckert is suing.
We need a directorate of science, and we need it to be voted on only by scientists. You don't get to vote on reality. Get over it. Elected officials that deny the findings of the Science Directorate are subject to immediate impeachment for incompetence.
