reminded me of this paper that I first read 25 years ago,
Superexponentiation
where an inverted Figure 1 is somewhat, but superficially, similar to hanelyp's plot.
Well worth the read if you like exploring "outside the box" concepts in mathematics. A more modern name for "superexponentiation" is "tetration".
