The onset of Nazis started in February of 33 when the emergency proclamation came from parliament and rules against Jewish children at school were in full effect by April. by that time. Most people do not realize how fast Germany became a Nazi country. by December parents with means were already evacuating children to England and the US for fear of what was to come.

Answer? maybe or just a harbinger of things to come.
I know off topic but an area of my heritage I am interested in greatly. Our family came to the US after WW1 because they believed thing were going to get very bad in Germany. They did.

Group think and mob mentality is a real thing. People really will embrace ideas if they perceive that they are popular. They will simply run along with the stampede.

There is not enough critical thinking in the world, and I don't see that problem being solved any time soon if ever.

Many people saw what was coming in Nazi Germany, but not enough to stop it. Europe is facing a similar problem with Islamic immigration/settlement in Europe. They unabashedly embrace Hitlerian ideas, and many Europeans are just too stuck in group think to see it.

I see another blood bath coming in Europe sometime in the future.

Yup. If they can't stop looking at things via Genetic Heritage colored glasses, they are going to go at it again, and probably a lot sooner than the average person suspects.
One of the nice things about the ongoing Great American Experiment, is that, nutjobs aside, the concept here is to look at things via Culture colored glasses, which tends to be less dramatic. However, that said, we didn't do ourselves any favors by enacting Protected Class laws and policies which mix culture and genetics in the same bucket to provide labels and 'protection'. Big mistake, and the source of great ongoing drama IMHO.

The same people who insist that buying a gun at a store, which at a minimum requires a government-issued ID and background check, is too easy will also tell you that requiring an ID to vote is an impossibly high hurdle to expect average people to overcome.

Stemming the Tide: Violent Crime Decreased in First Six Months of 2017

Image

After two years of increases in violent crime and murder nationwide, the early returns indicate the no-nonsense approach instituted by President Trump and Attorney General Sessions have helped to turn the tide of violent crime. We look forward to seeing the full data for 2017, and to the results of this Administration’s commitment to reducing violent crime.
The FBI released the first-round of 2017 crime data earlier this week. The Preliminary Semiannual Uniform Crime Report covers January through June of 2017 and the results are mixed. The good news is that there was an overall decrease (down 0.8%) in violent crime for the first six months of 2017 compared to the same time period in 2016. This respite comes after two consecutive years of increases in violent crime nationwide.

Rape, robbery, and aggravated assault all decreased between 2016-2017 after increasing between both 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Burglary, larceny/theft, and arson all continued to decrease, contributing to an overall 2.9% reduction in the number of property crimes.

The overall decrease in violent crime can likely be attributed to the renewed efforts of the federal Department of Justice. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has prioritized violent crime, including a refocused effort on prosecuting firearm offenses. Large cities (1 million+ residents) witnessed less violent crime than in the previous year but cities with between half a million and just under a million residents saw an increase in violent crime compared to the first half of 2016. There was also an overall 1.5% increase in the number of murders nationwide. Big cities saw 1.9% fewer murders, while those in the second-largest population group (between 500k-1m residents) saw an 18.7% increase in murders. This group includes cities with substantial gun control like Baltimore, which other sources confirm saw a record-breaking number of homicides in 2017 and a murder rate of 55.8 per 100,000 people – putting it on par with some of the most dangerous cities in the world.

She didn't shoot him, but you could still call this Crime and Punishment, Florida Style.

When Natalie Holloway vanished in Aruba years ago, two young men were suspected. Van der Sloot is in prison for another murder. This is the other guy ... claimed to have helped bury her body but none was found. He just tried to kidnap another young woman, and she fought him off. Fatally. You go, girl!

Makes me wonder if we're looking at a little stormtrooper in the offing, there. (And I'm not talking about the Empire kind, either...)

Typical SJW, it's one thing to wear the armband, another to wear it with the white shirt and black tie like an imitation Nazi uniform. He thinks he's making a statement to end gun violence when what he's really saying "us Nazis are back and you can't say anything against us because we're claiming to be against the exact opposite of what we really are."

I ended up in an online argument with someone who claimed he was a Nazi a few weeks back, made it very clear to me he was an anti-capitalist socialist.

I have no doubt of it. Pampered little brat lecturing the rest of us about what he thinks? So stupid he doesn't realize he's Marching in the same grove worn by millions of jackboots in ages past?

James Woods spanked him good, and he and his sister withdrew this stupid idea.

You might have a little trouble getting Jewish Americans to embrace this look. Do you have some shiny jackboots and brown shirts to go with it? Guessing maybe you skipped history class while you were shilling for the @DNC… pic.twitter.com/WfA4jL9y65

Not so much. The Nazis were actually socialists who wanted gun control, so he's pretty much saying he is exactly what the Nazis actually were.

So were the Nazis. "Nazi" is actually shorthand for " Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei ."

I'm not seeing good justification here. I didn't hear or see him get violent with her. It looks to me like he was just trying to leave.

Did the prosecutor refuse to prosecute, or was she acquitted?

Something about she was tried for first degree murder which precluded being convicted for second degree murder if she was found not guilty in the first degree.

In sane courts with a competent prosecutor, jurors are given the option of finding guilty lesser included crimes from the primary charge. Such as finding guilty for second degree murder when the defendant is charged with first degree but the element of premeditation is unproven.
