Interaction between solar cycle and hormonal activity.

This has nothing to do with fusion. Well, that`s not true since theres a lot of talk about the sun, and the sun is a fusion reactor. so ok then this thread IS about fusion. If you don`t have at least 20 minutes or so come back later...

The "magnetosphere"(i think the sun has 2 sets of poles) of the sun plays vital role in human reproduction.... after all everything in the environment contributes to the evolution of life on earth, no?

I got this from the following link http://www.spiritualgenome.com/chapter_fourteen.htm

In support of his arguments, Cotterell cites studies demonstrating that human females deprived of solar radiation for a length of time, experience disruptive changes in their endocrine systems. This in turn affects the production of the ‘timing’ hormone, melatonin, and the fertility hormones, estrogen and progesterone. The corollary of this is that under normal conditions the radiation from the sun is modulating the biorhythm and the reproductive system of all females, which in turn is going to have a direct affect on the foetus. Cotterell also analyses the effect of solar radiation on several other fertility and menstruation hormones in his efforts to demonstrate that there is a correlation between hormone generation and solar activity, and that menstruation is disrupted in the case of disrupted solar radiation. “Altogether a very complex interaction occurs which translates solar cycle activity into hormonal activity. These hormones determine fertility levels. Any disruption in solar radiation thus likewise disrupts fertility. One obvious objection to this mechanism questions why all females do not menstruate at the same time in response to a common radiation stimulus from the sun. It is of course because all females were not conceived at the same time. The biorhythm and fertility clocks commence at the moment of conception. Those females who are conceived at the same time may be expected to menstruate at the same time, subject to environmental modifying factors.

I wonder if this guy`s got all marbles up there. I hope he doesnt because if hes right then were gonna join the extinct spicies soon after 2012.
In 1986 Maurice Cotterell put forward a revolutionary theory concerning astrology and sun cycles. He had for some years suspected that the sun's variable magnetic field had consequences for life on earth. The sun has a complex field which loops and twists itself into knots. It has long been suspected that these loops give rise to sunspots, which are dark blemishes on the sun's skin. The number, size and location of sunspots are constantly changing and as a former Radio Officer, Cotterell was well aware that they have profound effects upon the earth's magnetic envelope, the magnetosphere. Whilst working as Head of Electrical and Communications Engineering (Estates) at Cranfield Institute of Technology, he devised a program that would compute the relationship between the sun's magnetic field and the Earth. As expected his model predicted that there should be a sunspot cycle of roughly eleven and a half years, closely corresponding to what has been observed over several centuries. However, he also found graphic evidence for longer cycles including a period of 1,366,040 days

from here http://preterhuman.net/texts/science_an ... /mayan.htm

..and yea i do know theres some mayan bs there but why the heck it is considered bs i don`t know `cuz after all they lived on this rock just like we do now... well with one exception. They didn`t have polywell fusion. :D

...maybe we should take notice to the messages they wrote on the wall eh? After all they did pretty much "bang-on" figure out the length of time of the longer sunspot cycle.... now how the heck did they do that if they were all that primitive.

However, due to our constantly changing vantage point from the Earth as it orbits the Sun, the apparent rotation of the Sun at its equator is about 28 days.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun

and this might have something to do with the woman`s menstrual period of roughly 28 days, give or take a few for environmental modifiers... If the apparent rotation of the sun is 28 days, that means that it`s magnetosphere goes a full cycle in that time, and the vaccuum of space is the dielectric. And don`t ask me what the resonant frequency of the tank circuit is. :P

I originally heard about this when this cotterell guy was on a radio show a few nights ago about 2 am, and i just couldn`t let go of this idea, eh? So here it is, and now ima shut up about it. Bye.

@work, sippin on a coke,

Uh shouldn't that be sniffin' ?

Seriously, DNA and flux tubes? Kind of like a Fleming valve?

BTW I do like the Myan idea of recurring cycles. For about 5 or 8 years I would not talk on the Equinoxes and Solstices. Kind of a spiritual discipline. For a few years after I stopped doing that as a regular practice I would automatically go silent or talk less on Equinoxes and Solstices.

Even when I wasn't paying attention to the calendar.

Do we see that in studies of twins ?

If it weren`t for environmental factors you`d expect that they would too menstruate at the same time. There`s no way in the world anyone is going to come up with a formula for this. It`s impossible.

A confounding point is that women with dis-similar cycles will synchronize when they live together.

Which means they will be "cold" at the same time. Sigh.

Or hot at the same time. Yipeee. Providing they don't get into a cat fight.
