This is not hardcore science fiction but still you don't run across books every day where one of the main plot points is the protagonist discovering LENR hydrogen-boron aneutronic fusion and where how that is done is discussed entertainingly and at length. Strangely enough the author is an orthopedic surgeon perhaps he's a reader on this board. Laurence Dahners.
