i just found a great news site on fusion - checkout some of the entries -

news such as eg. '22nd IAEA Fusion Energy Conference - 2008' , or Stewart Prager takes over US DOE's PPPL lab. some interesting potted histories of our field also. all recent stuff.
i couldn't find anything on Polywell/BFR!
i am thinking now with US's new president, and his new-age pledges, perhaps now is the time to start ramping up the (BFR) Fusion campaign. I get the feeling the race to ignition/burn is now truly on the world agenda. Lets hope the fusion 'meme' proves as successful as the space race kicked off by JFK.
