Very afforable controller - not that I've used one - but I'd like to. However the prevailing philosophy where I work is that clients are best served with a widely used industry standard PLC like Schneider Modicon or Allen Bradley - so that in ten years time they will be able to find "someone" who can support their automation system. The philosophy for an in-house experimental system may be different.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
