Mmm... Hopefully the project will be completed and launched to the International Space Station soon. Then they will have a nice idle vacuum chamber, high power supplies for the magnets and experiance with superconducters (up to nearly eight Tesla near the magnets). Perhaps they have some spare superconducting material and ability to shape it into more Polywell friendly shapes.
I wonder if they are looking for a follow on project once they finish this one?
