so i know that plasma is pretty much gas in witch you can have electrical currents. but its reason in iec fusion is?

1. It is useful to have charged particles if you want to accelerate them
2. It is a natural consequence of high speed particles hitting each other. It takes at most 300 eV to strip all the electrons off an atom. The atoms are smashing together with 40 Kev energies in the garage fusors.
