My apologies for the site being down this week. My ISP upgraded all their machines to PHP 5.4, and this apparently is incompatible with the phpBB software we're using here.

I've set this site back to PHP 5.3 for now, but at some point I will need to drag it, kicking and screaming if necessary, into the modern age. However, I will try to give some advance notice when I do that.

A phpbb site I admin had a recent upgrade. To accommodate the newer phpbb it was necessary to transition the database from sqlite to mysql. This had a very nice side effect of vastly improving bulletin board performance, practically eliminating lag and timeouts.
