Are Our Posts Being Automatically Edited for Content?

Post by rjaypeters »

"Everytime I say F, you see K?"*

I was just posting an excerpt. The excerpt contain the past-tense Anglo-Saxon word for sexual intercourse: "frick" which was typed correctly in the post body, but the Preview and Post rendered as "frick."

"f*cked" renders properly.

I was not aware of this editorial policy. And I don't really object, but if "f*cked" is to be rendered as a form of "frick", shouldn't it be "fricked"?

*With apologies to Soupy Sales.

It comes with the software and has never been changed. And it is grammar challenged.
