H bonded to boron, interacting with pi electron system on benzene

Post by vernes »

I found this: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/jacs.6b01249
I was wondering if this had any application for the polywell project.

(found it via reddit)

While Diborane has applications in the development of Polywell technology the interaction of Boron compounds with Benzene (as reported in the paper you linked) have no application in Polywell technology.
That is unless you decide to use an old fuel can as the vacuum chamber for your home made reactor
