People donate to what they understand or believe in, and most people do not understand how close to the next step we really are. What we need is a good PR firm to bolster donations.

Wanna get really sick? This prank project to crowdfund a bowl of potato salad was on NBC's Today Show this morning. Looks like, as of my post, they've picked up $20k since then, for just over $52000 total. With 24 days to go.
