Let

Xdot_thr represent the thread's off-topic drift rate in off-topic posts/day,
Ndot_poly be the rate of Polywell actual news reports in reports/year,
C_drift = C_drift(Vdot_beer_avg), an empirically-determined coefficient function where
Vdot_beer_avg is the average, instantaneous, viewing-blogger beer consumption rate in gal/hr, and
E_agw is a UN-specified accelerated global warming exponent,

then we have

Xdot_thr = (C_drift^E_agw)(1/Ndot_poly) .

It is off topic, and I don't deny Greenland it's ice sheet, but the fact remains that there was farming there a thousand years ago, they did chop down trees, and it doesn't happen now.

While they still don't chop down the trees, there is farming again.

Oh.

Let

Xdot_thr represent the thread's instantaneous off-topic drift rate in off-topic posts/day,
Ndot_poly be the prior-year rate of Polywell actual news reports in reports/year,
C_drift_beer = C_drift_beer(Vdot_beer_avg), an empirically-determined coefficient function, everywhere >= 1, where
Vdot_beer_avg is the average, instantaneous, viewing-blogger volumetric beer consumption rate in gal/hr,
C_drift_pot = C_drift_pot(Vdot_pot_avg), an empirically-determined coefficient function, everywhere >= 1, where
Vdot_pot_avg is the average, instantaneous, viewing-blogger volumetric pot consumption rate in fingers/hr,
E_agw be a dimensionless UN-specified accelerated global warming exponent and
E_psp be a dimensionless MSimon-specified pot-smoking-promotion exponent,

then we have

Xdot_thr = (C_drift_beer * C_drift_pot)^E_agw^E_psp)(1/Ndot_poly) ,

which is essentially a superexponential function depending primarily on E_psp.

This:
Xdot_thr = (C_drift_beer * C_drift_pot)^E_agw^E_psp)(1/Ndot_poly)
Is hilarious.

Is not E_agw proportional to 1/T_bathroom^C_drift+pot?

I don't know where the UN gets that number. You'd have to ask them.

At this time, I only contribute to the beer coefficient.

If only we could get all those idiots sitting on toilets smoking pot and solving the world's problems to go out and get a job.

As opposed to the idiots sitting on toilets smoking pot who already have a job, say in the military? Given the military's long history of chronic drug use do you really want to go there? And what was Iraq II if not an exercise in trying to solve one of the world's problems? Well, besides GWB wanting to prove that he was a better man than his daddy.

Note, I'm a big supporter of the military coming from a large extended Navy family.

I'll bet a lot of people on this board see Polywell as a solution to solving some of the world's problems. And not a few of them have jobs and smoke pot.
