I confess.

The piece was edited lightly. The obvious error remaining was where "This is evident in global warming climate disruption as well as particle physics." The original had "global warming" struck through.

Well, I've definitely missed the point that links to quantitative easing. Are you blaming all the world's economic woes on the shortsightedness of government support to science? A time when it is probably at its peak in all human history. Sorry, I must've missed the point....
