"Other Administrative Action" could be anything from wrapping up paperwork and properly archiving and "disposal" of equipment, to putting pieces in order for a scientific net gain demonstrator.

What is the point of the report when it doesn't say anything?

Just because YOU don't know what it says, doesn't mean the NAVY doesn't.

Well, I am sure that someone knows exactly what is going on.
The development of atomic power, though it could confer unimaginable blessings on mankind, is something that is dreaded by the owners of coal mines and oil wells. (Hazlitt)

I was scouring the web for a reason why "Energy/Matter Conversion Corporation" no longer appears in Bing Maps or Google Maps.

Then I found this:

Either it's a meteorite, or the Luna Farside Facility was not secure enough for Polywell QED-ARC testing, in which case they forgot to coordinate with the civilian side.

It is only visible on one of the two cameras facing that way. most likely an artifact of the CCD.

That could just mean it was a very brief flash and the scan times were slightly different.

It happened twice in two days, April 2 and 3. Both times from the top of the ridge, near the same time of day (the other camera was blocked during the first occurence).

What are the odds of that if it was cosmic rays? Reflecting object (JPL says "rock"). Or QED-ARC test.

So, will my tax dollars be used to drive the 175 yds to check out this glinty thing?

Nope, the logistics of driving that far are not acceptable. The average move in distance for a day going flat out pedal to the metal is 100 yards.
It would be easyer just to keep on course and look back later to see if things changed. Sad but true.

"It would be easyer just to keep on course and look back later to see if things changed. Sad but true."

Now that last part "sad but true" is a statement that has applied way too frequently in America since January 2009... Sad, but true.

Sigh
