And now that my imagination is getting ahead of itself, and remembering the Boy Scout who built the backyard nuclear reactor with material from fire alarms, old clocks, latern mantles and related sources, how about a Thorium Flouride Salt reactor using lantern mantles and Floride extracted from a few hundred tubes of tooth paste!
