Re: Aviation Week on the Lockheed Skunkworks CFR
So I talked to a bird. I was told that the actual LM team havent actually made any insane outrageous claims (anymore than JYP have been making). The folks at APS were just going crazy without any good reasons. The bird talked to Charles Chase, and he was very very realistic about the machine. Their ...

Re: Aviation Week on the Lockheed Skunkworks CFR
Have their machine gotten to high beta yet? If they can't get it to high beta, it will not work.

Re: Aviation Week on the Lockheed Skunkworks CFR
So i got a question for yall. No one (documented anyways) before EMC2 could get a cusp machine to high beta. So... how did LM know they could? How could they make the claim that they could unless there was proof that they could... did they figure out how to do it (via neutral injection) before EMC2 ...

Re: Aviation Week on the Lockheed Skunkworks CFR
Someone mentioned earlier 4 line cusps - I count just 2 circular line cusps parallel to the rings between the central and outer coils. Where are the others? Oh god someone answer my questions.... So the diagram looks like this: X X X O X O X X X O O O X O X O O O Yes? Look at the region of X O X O ...

Re: Aviation Week on the Lockheed Skunkworks CFR
Immediate Concerns. 1. I counted 6 cusp exits, 4, yes 4 LINE CUSPS! (plus 2 point cusps at the ends. In the truncated cube polywell, you have 6 point cusps, at each face, and 8 quasi-point cusps, at each corner? But no line cusps) 2. High beta means they're gonna be on the wiffleball effect train ri...

Re: Dr Park speaking at University of Maryland on September
From what I've heard, Dr. Park is talking at all the schools with big plasma groups. I actually missed his talk at LANL.
There's a chance I may be able to do polywell research. A source said if you want to do important physics, you pretty much have to do 1m x 1m; this will be very difficult for me.

Re: Interested in a fusion webinar?
For sure be interested.
In fact it may be very helpful for the webinar to be recorded and uploaded to youtube.

Re: Dr. Park to speak at UW-Madison
A. I know Energy won’t like it, but as a taxpayer I’m asking them to drop their biases, and do their Congressionally designated job. You go out there and find any plasma physicist/electric engineer, it's pretty much a guarantee they havent heard of, do not know enough about or are not proponent of ...

Re: EMC2 has published a polywell preprint on arXiv
1. Talk to ladajo 2. I'm gonna take a stab at it and say that because DoE is too invested with their current projects; I mean they didnt help when Bussard was looking for money, granted it's different back then, it was like, Bussard saying, "take my word for it." However, Park is saying, "look at th...
