See how many defining terms you had to use to understand technology, that shows how it is the web that binds culture. Without tools/technology language would not have developed, pack hunting would be impracticable for lack of method to take down big game, and human would not have developed a societ...

Technology is just one dimension of transformation. Without changes in legislation, organization, processes, concepts, and (by far the most importa...

Polywell would destabilize the political landscape so much that it will most likely: 1. be sequestered initially for America only, their closest allies decades later, and the world in 50 to 100 years. 2. be classified for DECADES until the technology can provide unequivocal American superiority. 3....

OTOH an announcement might have an effect on geopolitics sufficient to warrant an announcement. Think of the leverage we would have over Iran. "If your reactors are truly for power, then we will give you these fusion reactors if you will allow the inspectors to come in and monitor your dismanteling...

Kurt9, you wrote: "Torque is necessary for ground transportation (cars, trains, etc.) as well as ships. If successful, MLT will be more revolutionary than polywell. If you can generate torque with this device, you're talking about an all electric transportation system. Polywell is definitely desirab...

As a Carrier Pilot and former Air Boss of a CVN, I feel compelled to weigh in. C stands for Carrier. V for fixed wing. N for nuclear. E for escort (as in CVE). Kennedy was a CV. Why V for fixed wing, you got me, but A is for attack and H is for helo. Why not CVHN? Because no self respecting carrier ...
