Re: Merkel is a traitor

If it was JUST the immigration policy, then I would say it can be explained with stupidity. If it was JUST the Energiewende, then it can be explained with stupidity. If it was JUST some unfavorable trade agreements, then it could be explained with stupidity. But all of those (and then some)? Two is...

Re: Merkel is a traitor

Skipjack wrote: As for her immigration policies, well that is another topic all together. But it is probably worth mentioning that I believe that this was in the interest of the US as well (weaken Germany).

There it is. :)

Re: Merkel is a traitor

Yes Skipjack brilliant moves on the part of Donald Trump; certainly consistent with his "America First" agenda. Imagine...a United States President who thinks his highest priority is acting in the best interest of America as opposed to how he "looks on the world's stage" whatever that is supposed t...

Re: EM Drive

Somehow this PHD must have missed that part. Not to be snarky, but I can't help but point out that McCulloch's PhD is in Physical Oceanography. If one PhD is as good as the next to talk about differing subjects, then My BS in Comp. Sci. and EE must make me a reasonable authority in nuclear reactors...

Re: EM Drive

From your posted link: Sound like Dr Mike McCulloch work is similar to Shawyer's EMDrive: I noticed that too. Thought it might be of interest in this thread. Yeah, it's the same asymmetrical geometry claims we're taught don't work in intro physics, repackaged. Somehow this PHD must have missed that...

Re: SpaceX News

Disappointed by updated design. Turns out the only significant difference (added fins) were not a result of engineering, but simply that Musk liked the aesthetics more. He even admitted the design was now riskier as a result. This guy legit scares me now. Seems like he has gone round the bend a bit...

From your posted link: The theory has already predicted galaxy rotation without dark matter, and the fact that if a system is accelerated enough – such as a spinning disc or light bouncing between mirrors – the Unruh waves it sees can be influenced by a shield. Therefore, if a damper is placed abov...

Speaking of Valiant. (couldn't think of any better thread on which to post this.) I still maintain the primary cause of aging is mitochondrial dysfunction From what i've read, mitochondrial dysfunction appears to be the primary reason why cells go into senescence. Once their own powerplant fails, cells have to drain material off of their neighbors. Quercitin supposedly helps rem...
